Veronica has been hired to cater a neighborhood party in an upscale cul-de-sac on Delta Avenue. When she arrives she gets to know the neighbors a little, but not before one of them, Leo Amato, is found dead. It would appear he's been stabbed to death!
Veronica, Detective Max Bernard, and her best friend Sakura team up once again to work on the case. One scrap of evidence found on the body is a portion of a torn photograph. Veronica soon realizes that if they want to solve this mystery they need the rest of the pieces to complete the picture.
Apparently several people have a motive for killing Leo, and each member of every family conveniently seems to have an alibi. Even the video cameras set up around the neighborhood don’t help solve the case!
The team eventually learns that Leo was the one who took the picture, but what was he photographing? Who or what was behind his death? And how is this photograph the center of it all? Is there more than just what the picture shows? There must be....

This was an enjoyable cozy mystery, in a no frills sort of way. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it.I like the heroine, who seems to like to solve mysteries but slow on the uptake in the romance department. She also has a puppy who seems to be in the middle of the investigations. This was pretty lighthearted as far as murder mysteries goes.Product details

Nice light reading cozy. Fast paced and well written. Very enjoyable and leads me to think I better check out the rest of the series soon!
This is a great read and an easy read I will be reading more of this series worth the time and the reason the murder happened is a shock but a happy ending.
I really enjoyed reading this cozy mystery. I liked the interactions between all of the characters. I liked how the mystery was solved. I would recommend this, to anyone who wants to read cozy mysteries.
I thought the book was good. There were a few editing errors, but overall it was well written. The plot was well thought out but rather simplistic. The story line was revealed naturally but was a bit choppy. I liked the book and would read more of her work.
Quick summer read. Whike the characters aren't believable and the murderer is quickly identified, I still found this ti be a quick enjoyable read. The author
actually has the ability to convey moods without the use of foul language! For that reason alone, I will be reading more by Liz Turner.
